One of the best Omakase Japanese dinners I’ve ever had. I was staying at the Hilton and surprised to see a highly rated Japanese restaurant on premises. It lived up to its billing. Every single course was excellent. While I have not been to a ton of Japanese restaurants, I have been to several top rated ones in Tokyo as well as Nobu and I don’t remember any being better. I enjoyed watching the chef prepare everything in front of me. He was very informative when personally serving everyone. I am also not a beer guy but truly enjoyed the beer pairing, most weren’t like the beers I grew up on and complimented the meal well (though I still find beer a little too filling). Service was also excellent. A great experience.

Saw this restaurant on the Michelin Guide and ended up staying at the hotel for work so it worked out. My coworker & I ended up doing the 13 course with the beer pairing. We were starving and the portions were perfect! It was both of our first times doing an Omakase and it was such a wonderful experience! My favorites: Kenmedai, Ginger Salmon, Hamachi, Akami, and Otoro. We also added an extra roll which was the Wagyu Handroll - now that was hands down AMAZING. So freaking good. Princess was our server and she was so attentive & wonderful! Overall, highly recommend! You’re not just paying for food, you’re also paying for the experience of being able to see the chef cut & prepare the food right before your eyes.

I had dinner here last week and I'm still dreaming of this meal. Hands down the best restaurant in Palm Beach County. I would recommend this to every sushi lover out there. I made a reservation ahead of time and the evening of, I valeted my car. The valet gets validated after dinner and the parking that night ended up being free. I'm not sure if that's every night but that was a nice treat. I checked in at the front where there was a sign for Moody Tongue. They told me that they would come get me when the chefs were ready. I think it took about 15 minutes after our reservation time, but it was well worth the wait. We walked in having the room to ourselves for the first half an hour. We loved it. It was a nice intimate setting. We also had a very gracious host named Princess who assisted us with our questions and our order. We came on a Wednesday so it was their ala carte night. I liked this better because I got to choose what pieces I wanted. I also got to add on more pieces after I finished everything I ordered without having the hesitation and wait amongst the other seaters. Everything was a favorite! I can't say enough about their spicy scallop. I ended up having 2 hand rolls of the spicy scallop. Their ikura, uni, king salmon and torched wagyu were also incredibly memorable. Every bite was delicious. The chefs were also able to accommodate my request of torching certain pieces. Some nigiri pieces, they did give 2 pieces each time but that's okay. It made the dinner faster and each bite was heaven. Can't wait to come back again!

We just had the best experience at Moody Tongue with Princez!! She made the whole experience so detailed and perfect for us. The thirteen courses were out of this world, so dreamy, an absolute experience of a lifetime. The sushi melts in your mouth, the quality is so high end it’s worth every penny. We just got engaged today and Princez made sure to make the moment super special with a complimentary drink and a celebration. The corn appetizer might scare you off but don’t worry I think it’s just a palette cleanser :) thank you so much Princez and the whole Moody Tongue team for making it such a memorable night.

We almost didn’t go to this restaurant because of the negative review, but we decided to give it a chance. I honestly don’t know what the prior negative review was based on but all I can tell you is the following. My wife and I travel around the country eating at some of the best Omakase restaurants and this place held their own. The fish was extremely fresh and the dishes were creative. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and the beer pairing, which my wife and I do not drink beer we are wine drinkers, absolutely loved every beer that we paired with our dishes. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.
