This place is fusion of Puerto Rican and Guatemalan food. I got some Arroz con gandules and the pork. Was delicious so far is one of the best I had tried in this area.

Best service ever! Just went inside and noticed it is a fusion of Guatemalan food and Puerto Rican food. I got the pernil with rice and Maduros. Ahhhmazing reminds me so much of my aunt’s pernil. Seasoned well and tender. I told the young lady that I loved Guatemala and she let me try their horchata! The horchata was 10/10! I love it here, will be returning!

The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it the perfect stop during La Chincho Parranda on the Trolley. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This review is not for you. This review is for me, so I remember to come back here. In a world where restaurants are charging more and giving less, this place serves real food. Not food designed for Instagram. Not tiny portions covered in fancy sauce. Real food that fills you up. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and cooked with care. The food was hot, flavorful, and clearly made by people who take pride in what they’re serving. The portions were generous enough that I couldn’t even finish everything. I also tried the octopus empanadilla out of curiosity, and I’m glad I did. You don’t find that everywhere. It was unique, flavorful, and one of those menu items that makes a place memorable. The staff was also very kind. If future me is reading this because I’m trying to remember that amazing Boricua spot, this is your reminder: Come back. Bring your appetite. Order the octopus empanadilla again. You’ll thank yourself later.
