Had a great experience here! The atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming. Our waitress, Maddy, was amazing—so attentive, friendly, and really made us feel taken care of the entire time. The food was delicious. I’m already looking forward to coming back to try more from the menu. Highly recommend!

First, make a reservation on the weekends, our server mentioned it was a slow night compared to other Saturdays, and the wait was an hour and a half. The space is not as huge as it might seem, especially compared to other local trendy mexican restaurants.We had a reservation, so we sat right away. We had heard mixed reviews about the service and food, so our expectations were not high. But to start, Johnny our server came over pretty much right away and took our drink orders and came with water. I started with a regular margarita with the our apps, we ordered the queso dip and corn dip. Both came out with freshly fried seasoned tortilla chips. The corn dip had a smokey and creamy texture which we loved. The queso dip was smooth and seasoned as well. We enjoyed both. We followed with s second round of drinks this time we had the Britney which was fantastic, the perfect blend of sweet and tart. We finished with carne asada tacos, the carne was tender, seasoned and well served, topped with a radish slaw, avacado mousse. We were not expecting to enjoy the food as much as we did and are looking to come back with a group of friends. Our server Johnny gave great recommendations and was on point.

I went to Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar for happy hour to try something new. I ordered their popular coco tequila drink and honestly wasn’t a fan…it mostly tasted like tequila with lime. I was expecting more of a coconut flavor, but didn’t really get that at all. My friend tried a few different drinks too and felt the same way. The food came out really fast, which is usually a plus, but everything was kind of just warm and not hot, which was a little disappointing. That said, the homemade chips were SO good, definitely a must. I had them with the street corn and loved it. The wings were solid too. Overall, I’d go back for the food, but probably skip the drinks next time.

I had such a great experience at Loco Taqueria! I walked in without a reservation and was told the wait for a table would be about an hour, but they offered me a spot at the bar, which ended up being the best decision. I went during happy hour and everything was amazing. The service at the bar was outstanding, especially from a very kind and friendly brunette bartender who was incredibly attentive and proactive with menu suggestions. She really elevated the whole experience. The drinks were excellent, especially the El Jefe margarita, which I highly recommend. We also ordered corn, tacos, chicken wings, and nachos, and everything delivered, with the wings being a standout. The ambiance was lively and fun, making it a perfect happy hour spot. I used to be a big fan of El Camino, but I think I’ve officially found my new go-to margarita place. Highly recommend checking this place out, especially for happy hour!
