Me & my Mom ABSOLUTELY LOVE Happy Kitchen! Their customer service is AMAZING AND the food and portion sizes are GREAT! The owners are so nice!! They gave us extra sides b/c our to go order was running a little behind! Let me tell you, it was definitely worth the wait! Happy Kitchen has customers for life! Haitian cuisine at its finest!

Run, don’t walk! This Haitian restaurant is pure authenticity and comfort. I’m still dreaming about the rice (diri djon djon) and pikliz 🤤. I also had griot and fried turkey was tasted so good. Every dish was truly 5-star, and the service was exceptional. . Highly, highly recommended!

I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience at Happy Kitchen was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to share it. I ordered a meat entrée with a side of fried plantains. When I saw the total, I politely asked how much the side of fried plantains cost. I was told that three pieces of fried plantains were $3.00. I commented that, in my opinion, the price was excessive. Instead of simply explaining the pricing, an older gentleman behind the counter responded by saying that if I couldn’t afford it, he could remove it from my order. I explained that it wasn’t about whether I could afford it; it was about what I felt was an unreasonable price. He then told me, “Next time, don’t come. Do it yourself.” That response was completely unnecessary, unexpected, and, frankly, the most disappointing part of the experience. If every customer decided to do it themselves, restaurants would not exist. This community is saturated with Haitian restaurants, and customer service is one of the things that actually sets them apart. I chose Happy Kitchen not because it’s my favorite restaurant, but because it’s conveniently located across the street from where I live. And with that exchange, I have no problem driving an extra 5 minutes for a little bit of respect. This review isn’t about the $3.00 for three mere pieces of fried plantains. It’s about respecting and valuing those who support your business.

reasonable all across and they offer meat only options that are worth the buy. I got a Fritay platter and an extra side griot. I can't think of a way to complain unless im picky. Check out my other reviews.

If you’re looking for authentic, fresh, and flavorful Haitian food, look no further than Happy Kitchen restaurant! Every dish is made fresh to order, and you can truly taste the love and care she puts into her cooking. Denise herself is an absolute gem she is so sweet, welcoming, and full of positive energy. If it’s your first time trying Haitian cuisine or you’ve been eating it your whole life, you’ll leave with a full belly and a happy heart. Highly recommend!
