We went for brunch. I ordered the Mondongo, it was good but did need a bit more flavor. The serving could feed 2 people. My niece Ordered the lechon dinner and it was so much she shared with us. . It was excellent, I have eaten lechon (pork roast) at many restaurants, but I must say it was the best one yet. Perfect tender and flavorful. Will come back for that. The cappuccino, so good a must try!! Atmosphere pleasant. . My only complaint and it’s more of an observation would be for the waitress let us enjoy without trying to quickly take the plates especially when some were still eating. Ask first. Other than that, go and enjoy!

I was part of a group order on Uber Eats when we decided to try Mar D' Plata based on all the “glowing” reviews. Our order took forever, which we initially brushed off as them being busy. Nope. We called, and they casually told us they had given our entire order to the wrong delivery driver and were “remaking it.” Already off to an amazing start. When the food finally shows up, the delivery driver tells us the restaurant actually wanted to CANCEL our order instead of fixing their mistake. The audacity is almost impressive. Now let’s talk about the food… if you can even call it that. The masitas de puerco tasted like they were fried yesterday, refrigerated, and then punished in hot oil again before being sent out. We somehow received white rice and beans we DID NOT order, both were tragic. The rice was so hard I genuinely questioned if it had ever met water. The beans? Completely bland. No seasoning, no soul, no hint of authentic Dominican flavors. Pathetic. The appetizer was a whole situation: old chicharrón thrown on top of soggy tostones smeared with BROWN guacamole(SEE PHOTO) that looked like it had been fighting for its life since last week. Pitiful. And the morir soñando? Please. NOTHING dreamy about it. Anyways, Everything got tossed right into the trash and we will never be ordering from here again.

The food was excellent, great flavor and expertly prepared. The portions are very ample enough for two people to share. Prices are very reasonable when you consider how up scale the food is, fast food prices for gourmet Quality. We went on a Sunday and there were three birthdays being celebrated so the Restaurant was very crowded and noisy. The service was spot on our orders were taken quickly and the food was served very timely as well. Our waitress was very attentive and came over several times to check our beverages. Jamil the singer never fails to put on an energetic and entertaining performance. In all we had a great time. Highly recommend for your drinkin and dining pleasure.

Uffff an amazing place to go and taste an excellent Dominican cuisine highly recommended! The chef 🧑🏼‍🍳 is a top tier ! Buenisimo!! Excellent chef wasn’t able to get his name because the waitresses aren’t helping the chef or the restaurant like it supposed to be bet hey the chef is well worth it it was a Saturday night Jan 31 what ever chef was on this night ufff amazing 🤩 will definitely be back hopefully 🙏 the chef will also be there 😂 great place to get some dancing 💃 in as well! really an amazing taste to the food 🥘!

Food tasted great. We ordered pork, fish. Love them all. They also had live Latin band that night. Will come back again.
