I recently visited a BBQ smokehouse in West Palm after seeing it on Instagram, and I drove up from South Florida to try it out. The atmosphere was really nice and the staff was friendly. They let you order by scanning a barcode at your table or by going up to the bar. I had mixed feelings about that — my friend liked the convenience, but I personally prefer having a server take my order so I can ask questions about the menu and get a little more attention during the meal. We did notice that after the food came, no one really checked back on us. I waited about 20 minutes for to-go boxes before eventually getting up to ask for some. Now the food itself was really good. I absolutely loved the empanadas, the brisket, and the pulled pork sandwich. The cornbread was the only thing I didn’t care for. I also tried the cheese fries, turkey sandwich, collard greens, mac and cheese, and the chicken wings — which were huge! I even joked that the wings had a BBL. The sweet tea was also really good. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and I would definitely go back for another visit.

I did research and this restaurant popped up as somewhere I should dine when in West Palm Beach and the food did not disappoint. Simple food done right. All the bbq sauces were tasty and added different flavor profiles. The brisket and the ribs were flavorful and tender. The collard greens were smoky and delicious, the Mac n cheese was cheesy n creamy and black beans were tasty. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Portions were generous. I recommend you stop by and treat yourself to something great to eat.

Tropical Smokehouse never disappoints. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The ribs were perfectly cooked, tender, flavorful, and packed with that incredible smoky barbecue flavor they’re known for. The cornbread was phenomenal, and the kale salad was a perfect balance to the richness of the meal. The honey mustard barbecue sauce deserves special recognition; it was unique, delicious, and complemented everything on the table. What truly elevated the experience, however, was our server, Milo. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about the menu, offered thoughtful recommendations, and was able to answer every question with confidence. Despite managing what seemed like the entire restaurant, he remained attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly throughout our visit. It’s rare to find someone who can handle that level of responsibility while still making every guest feel taken care of. Great food is important, but great service is what keeps people coming back. Milo provided both. We’ll definitely be returning.

Although some might complain about the bbq not having a carolina vinegar taste, for me the latin fusion and taste of the briskets & Burgers are mind blowing! I love this place been here 3rd time here and its my new favorite place! Between the top shelf tequila, beer and blue music, this place is a must for their world famous smash burgers! Im not paid to review, i paid to eat! I go hungry leave happy! Picture says it all, parking is tough is the hardest part!

This has been the most mild tasting bbq I’ve had in South Florida and I felt truly disappointed. I ordered a little bit of everything (see the receipt with the full order in the photos) and the star of all of this was the burger, which was excellent. Ribs were ok and so was the pulled pork and the sausage but everything else was DRY and overcooked, specially the brisket. I don’t know if that was a piece of the flat but even with a knife it was hard to cut through it, same with the beef rib. Portions are fine but overall, not worth the hype in my opinion, which is a shame but I was really looking forward to trying it.
