Wow, just wow! From the greeting, to the table, to the water poured, and friendly service from Kristen and then the foodie-dreamt reality of a gourmet- perfectly priced calamari, eggplant, double smashburger, and finely plated keylime slice, and olive oil lemon cake paired with a hot American coffee, The Beacon stood 😋 up to the word on the street. The atmosphere along the intercoastal waterway with the Lighthouse standing tall and confident in the immediate backdrop, provided the picturesque ambience suited for a lifestyle one only dreams of.... 😀 . If I could eat here for dinner 8 days a week, I would. Thank you for a memory made that I hope to return to soon. Dr. Bunk

What a delightful experience! You walk up the side stairs to the rooftop top side restaurant to a lovely view and a beautiful outdoor seating bar area that is right on the water and with a stunning view of the lighthouse! Beautiful, beautiful surroundings everywhere they even have a hammock down in the shallow part of the water. Nice little park to the right just very serene and beautiful. Lots of seating up on the outdoor patio and a nice large beautiful bar with TVs. Comfortable high top tables. I think our servers’s name was Poppy and she was just delightful as well. Speedy knowledgeable and attentive. I had a lovely cocktail called the coconut lime crush, and it was perfect. A little creamy and very chilled, went down very easy. Nice and cold and in a beautiful glass. We had a order of the shrimp cocktail and it was a very nice portion. They were cooked perfectly and a cocktail sauce was delicious. Nice and chilled as well. I had the seafood, snapper ceviche, and it was served in a very unique way inside of a mortar and pestle like the kind you would get when you order a mocajete at a Mexican restaurant. Really nice portions really fresh ingredients and just a wonderful wonderful atmosphere! I highly recommend this establishment! Prices are what you would expect but really really worth it! They have a happy hour which is great as well!

Excuse the half empty marg in the pic. It was delicious so I started drinking it before I thought to take a pic. Awesome location, views and vibes. The best part though is definitely the service. Everyone was very nice but our server Jake was THAT DUDE! Gave us his insider tips on the menu and what to get and did not disappoint. Also just a great guy. Make sure you ask for Jake when you’re being seated and you’re sure to have a 12/10 experience at Topside.

My boyfriend and I decided to try out this restaurant, we sat outside on the top deck at the railings, looking at the lighthouse. The view was great, but anytime we wanted to order something we had to go to the bar. We were told by the host and the bartenders that where we were sitting was full bar service and that they would come up to us, but they never did. We ordered food and drinks by walking up to the bar and even had to send back a very burnt octopus appetizer.. Bartenders and servers never came up to us and didnt even greet us. We had to even walk up to the bar to get our receipt. The only person that came to us was the food runner. And we were there for an hour and 20 minutes. Hillary and the bar crew today were just on their phones and talking to each other behind the bar, ignoring the staff on the top deck that from what I saw at other tables needed drinks to be refilled and needed service all around. The bar crew today was too comfortable and could care less about giving good service and as customers we definitely felt it. Definitely won’t be coming back with the lack of service.
