This is hands-down the best sushi I've ever had. My husband brought it home last night and my son ate most of it. I only had one piece of my son's sushi and I had to come back today for lunch because I was craving it, and I could not believe the dish that they brought out! it is beautiful, but the best is that it tastes even better than it looks. Pablo was Super Awesome behind the bar and chef Ton obviously did an amazing job! I asked who was the chef because besides the food being off the chain, the presentation was First Class!!! People always talk about sushi, but most sushi places are mediocre. Kontiki is amazing and absolutely stands out for the quality of food and service! The place is kind of fun in an eclectic kind of way in terms of decor, but it's got the perfect combination of good food and good people. It's not the cheapest place in town, but it is 100% the best and you get what you pay for!!!

It’s got this awesome, upscale but still relaxed feel—super mesmerizing and instantly makes the whole experience feel special. Whether you sit inside with the tropical decor or snag a table outside, the vibe is just right. ​🥢 The Food: So Fresh, So Good ​If you love sushi and Asian fusion, you are going to be in heaven. The food here is ridiculously fresh and absolutely delicious. ​The fish is top-notch, and the rolls are beautiful. Everything just melts in your mouth. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. ​Menu Mix: Beyond sushi, they have a fantastic Thai and Asian-inspired dishes along with many other options. I've tried a bunch of stuff, and it's all flavorful. ​Kontiki is one of those spots that just delivers on everything: killer atmosphere, amazing food, and great service. Kontiki is a must-go in Wellington, the atmosphere is amazing, with beautiful decor and such a great vibe that makes every visit special. The food is consistently delicious, and the whole experience feels welcoming and unique!

I went with my granddaughter and we went about 3:30 for light lunch we were the only ones in there because I think this is more of a dinner place. It was beautiful inside you would not think that by seeing the outside it was very nice very comfortable and the food was great. We both had sushi rolls they were fantastic, it is a little pricey but it was worth going in there. it was very nice. It would be a great place for a first date or a special occasion.

We have lived here for over a decade and this was our First time here. We had amazing service from Jerry (name on the receipt). She was excited and passionate when talking about the different dishes they had to offer. We had Pad Thai, the Brie and a tuna tower. All were 10/10. We admittedly ate too much! Kontiki was great and we will be back.
