My wife and I stopped in here for dinner on Thursday night, March 26 at 6:45 pm. It was still the tail end of Spring Break and Snowbird season, so the place was packed and there was even a long line for the valet to park your car, so we found small hidden public park with an open parking space about a block away from the entrance (see description below) . When we got there, we asked for a first available table since I don't think they take reservations. The hostess told us it would be an hour wait for a table for 2, so I gave her my cell phone number and we went to the bar for a few drinks. We got a text from the hostess about 45 minutes later, were seated at a table on one of the open air docks out back. The sun was setting and there was a nice breeze blowing so it was a great view and enjoyable atmosphere (quieter than being inside under the Tikis. I lost my receipt, so I don't exactly remember what we ordered, but it was either fried shrimp or a fresh Mahi sandwich. Our server was pretty busy, but she stayed friendly an attentive to our drink and food needs during our meal. The food was very good (fresh made and piping hot), but not really 5-stars like a fine-dining, chef-prepared gourmet meal would be. This was our second time eating here during the past year, and it was just as packed then. Seems to be a locals favorite. Lots of cool history and memorabilia on the walls in the large entrance area, where you usually have to wait for a table. We'll probably go back here again the next time we visit the Palm Beaches. The prices are very reasonable in this otherwise very expensive area and the food is very good. It looks like it's always crowded, so if you are an early diner, I'd try to get there about 4:00 to 4:30 pm so you don't have to wait for a table. The eastern section of the restaurant also has a live music band stand, and there was a pair of country singers playing the night we were there and they sounded pretty good.

Incredible nice place, best service ever and the atmosphere is really unique. I'll comeback for sure. The clam chowder was the best I ever had. The mahi mahi in my sandwich was overcooked :( Don't miss the key lime pie!

The food is consistently great, the service is excellent, and the live music adds the perfect touch to an already fun and welcoming vibe. It’s the kind of place where locals and visitors alike can sit back, unwind, and enjoy everything South Florida waterfront dining should be. And whatever you do, don’t leave without ordering a slice of their scrumptious key lime pie.

It was a 'cooler' Florida day but we sat outside by the water and had wonderful views. Service was attentive and friendly. We both ordered tacos, shrimp and mahi and both were fresh and very tasty. Best part of visit was the key lime pie! It is better than any I have had in the Keys. Next time I will have the pie first :)

We had a wonderful experience at Old Key Lime House. I don’t remember our server’s name, but she mentioned that she is retired and used to be a paramedic. She was very kind, friendly, and attentive. The service was fast, and she made us feel very welcome. Thank you for the great service!
