I have heard and read reviews about Eagle Grill & Oyster Bar and friends made reservations there. Located in a nondescript strip center. Went on a Sunday at 5:30 and the place was packed. Nice menu with fresh fish, mussels, tacos, baby back ribs, steaks, chicken, burgers, and sandwiches, fried seafood, wings and much more. The raw bar features fresh oysters and clams, shucked or streamed to order. Their specialties are crabcakes which they are known for, gumbo, baby back ribs, and a big 14 oz pork chop. I started with the Cherrystone Clams served with horseradish, cocktail sauce, and lemon wedges. Very good. Both my wife and I love crab cakes so we tried them , jumbo lump blue crab, just a smidgen of breading and dressing. remoulade sauce. Two as an entrée (served with two sides), One as a sandwich (with one side). Sides are French Fries, Cole Slaw, Sweet Potato Mashed, Steamed Vegetable ,White Rice, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, or Baked Potato , for an additional charge you can order Loaded Baker, Onion Rings, Dinner Salad, Cup of Chowder, or French Onion Soup. The crab cakes are good but the Cole slaw in a small plastic cup was dry. Definitely would return and try something else.

Let me tell you this is the best place in town for oysters. At 15 dollars for a half dozen, you will have a really solid meal. I thought the staff was friendly, and the cocktail sauce complemented nicely with them. 100% will return.

Great place overall. Incredible crab bisque with tons of crab meat and so so creamy! Fish dip was also delicious came with crackers, jalapeños, and lemons sooo good all in one bite. The batter on the Shrimp po boy was airy and flavorful. Potato wedges were crispy and good. Sauce on the ribs was on point! The entire staff was friendly and so incredibly efficient. Clean place. Waited 10 minutes or less. Recommend. Plenty of parking.

I was in search of conch chowder and I phoned in my pick up order. My order was ready but I was tempted by oysters so I had blue points and a drink.at the bar ( excellent ) Charlie the bartender was knowledgeable and pleasant . When I arrived home with my togo order the food was just as great as Charlie said. He’s definitely an ambassador and a keeper. I will be back

It was so much fun to spend an evening with friends in a casual atmosphere and the best crab cakes in town. Logan was on the spot and we ate oysters and steamers and shrimp and more… Excellent cocktails and a buzz of energy. Until next time
