The waitress felt like that one family member who just loves us simply for existing. The food was very tasty! My omelette was quite filling and very flavorful. The large portions were more than I could comfortably finish, yet we're good quality food. The menu had a large amount of selections. Their Chai was the best I've had since I visited out west. Great spot.

This place is so lovely. Susan is a fabulous waitress and will just brighten your day up. If you want southern charm where people remember your name, come here. I had the breakfast sandwich on a biscuit. The biscuit was amazing. I ordered a caramel macchiato iced to go… omg what a treat ! Highly recommend

Amazing coffee! Had an excellent breakfast with wonderful brew. Delicious cheese omelette with crispy home fries. The sourdough toast was also delicious. Served quick with a smile; we’re definitely returning here!

4/11/26--After the farm, I turned to my husband and asked, “Are you hungry?”I was not but I knew he hadn't eaten and It was already close to 1:30 p.m.—that in-between hour where breakfast is gone, lunch is almost gone, and your patience is also… almost gone. So we did what modern people do—we Google Mapped. Rise & Grind appeared. Close by, on the way. And just like that—decision made. We arrived, and I have to say… it’s a pretty neat place inside. Bigger than I expected. For some reason, I had imagined something tiny, almost like a coffee closet—but no, this had space, air, and a good feel to it. Proverbs 24:3 says, “By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established.” And whoever designed this place? They understood comfort. We were quickly greeted, which I always appreciate. First thing I asked—very important question—“What time do you close?” She said, “2 p.m.” So now we were not only eating—we were racing the clock. And just like that… lunch became a timed event. But they said not to worry so , I took that in. I looked through the menu and saw something I had not had in a while—a Greek salad. Honestly, one of the most fun salads to eat. Even more fun if you eat it with chopsticks—but unfortunately, I did not come prepared for that level of entertainment. My husband went for a grilled Cheese sandwich with coleslaw. My Greek salad came out big—very generous—and I had to remind myself, “This is 99% water. You’re fine.” (Self-control, trying to enter the room.) I did take a small bite of my husband’s sandwich—and it was excellent. Sourdough bread, nicely done. You know when bread alone makes you respect a place? Yes, that moment. The café lattes were also excellent. And let me say this—the heart shape in the foam? It’s coming along beautifully. I was told the barista is practicing her coffee art. Keep going. We support growth in this establishment. Colossians 3:23 says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart.” And honestly… even in latte foam, it shows. I also bought two cans of Aranciata soda. You don’t usually see those in places like this, so when I do—I grab them. Immediately. No hesitation. Some things in life require quick decisions. Susan, our server, was excellent—very accommodating, attentive, and kind. Those small interactions matter. Hebrews 13:2 reminds us, “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers.” And she did exactly that. Now… let me tell you about my unexpected visitor. A small brown anole—a little lizard—came out from under the table and ran near my feet. I jumped. Not proud of it, but I jumped. For a brief second, I questioned everything—life choices, seating choices, all of it. But then I realized—it was harmless. Just a tiny creature, probably curious about lunch like the rest of us. And just like that… peace was restored. All in all, a great stop. Good food, good coffee, a little adrenaline, and a reminder that sometimes the best meals come with a small surprise. And honestly… I would come back.

The breakfast here is amazing. My wife and I had biscuits and gravy eggs potatoes and sausage. Flavored to perfection. Lilly, our waitress has such an uplifting and bright aura. Everyone there welcomes you. Love the place and will definitely be returning.
