Had to try it I heard they had a good Cuban sandwich. This is a cozy café and a little strip mall.. they have a variety of sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches plus some homemade pastries. But let’s talk about the Cuban., it is made fresh so it takes a few minutes, but quality ingredients definitely one of the better Cuban sandwiches in the area. Otherwise a cute clean restaurant that I would definitely go back to.
Tried El Black Bean Cafe for the first time today and it did not disappoint. We started with a chicken and a beef empanada, then I had the breakfast burrito while my husband went with the Cuban sandwich. We enjoyed everything. The sauces were also tasty and made in-house. Safe to say we'll be back!
Wow.. just wow on how amazing and flavorful this place is. I tried out this spot after a week of deliberation and man was I impressed. The empanadas were so delicious and I had the carne burrito that was just delightful which comes with a side of chips and yummy salsa. The beef empanada alone had me wanting to go back inside for one to go! Definitely take a second to check this spot out, it gives a elegant yet homey feeling for a latin restaurant in Gardens.
This is a hidden gem where you can get good food with affordable prices! I’ve always enjoyed Soup of the day menu, amazing and delicious! It’s local so sometimes you may come across multiple police cars in front of the cafe and see them in the restaurant having the food! When I saw a bunch of police cars at the same time in one place, I thought there must be something going on! But, they’re just here for the amazing food! I guess police officers are also human! Lol :D. Anyway, highly recommended this local yet family and friendly cafe!
We went to El Black Bean for breakfast and absolutely loved it. We had the bacon, egg, and cheese on a Kaiser roll and a breakfast burrito. Both were cooked perfectly and really delicious. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying. We are so glad we happened upon this hidden gem. The service was incredibly friendly, and the vibe inside was cute, wholesome, family friendly, and uniquely special. Definitely a spot we will be coming back to.
