Maggie is amazing! She was so sweet, and made sure we were well take care of. Daniel, the chef, came out to greet us, which was awesome. He was really nice and gracious. The food was incredible! I had the Lomo Saltado, my husband had the Tacu Tacu con Lomo, and my MIL had the Apollo Saltado. We all had the chicha morada to drink - so good! And we shared a micro ceviche with mahi - amazing!!! One of our new favorite spots! 10/10 highly recommend!!!

Decided to try this place on a whim and so glad we did!! Our server(we didn’t know he was the owner) was super nice and friendly. Told him it was our first time and he took the time to explain everything and even give us some history on the cuisines. We got trio lunch special and it was perfect. Basically had 6 dishes each one was so good. The way they cook the beef is amazing best around honestly. And I cook a lot so I was blown away. Genuinely a wonderful home cooked meal vibe. 100% will come back

So happy to be able to share an Easter brunch with my family here! We were grateful that it is open during Easter Sunday and for such a wonderful service and delicious yet authentic food! We had Tacu tacu al Pobre (I’m doing a vegan diet and requested no meat nor egg and they accommodated easily) which comes with a mix of rice with beans and sweet plantains - it’s a must! 10/10 would come again. The staff and waitress were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was welcoming and they have two big TVs for your little ones to be entertained if needed be :)! Oh and the portions are big so you can definitely split it in half :)

Outstanding service from start to finish! The staff was attentive, welcoming, and made sure every detail was perfect. The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a treat, and you can truly taste the care that goes into each dish. This place exceeded all expectations, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

Not sure what curse Hispanic restaurants in RPB have put on me lately but I’d like to share my feedback regarding my recent experience at 561 Ceviche. We had a very similar experience I have another review posted about on Mother’s Day at a place nearby this one too: Today was Father’s Day so my family decided to find a small Peruvian business to support for hopefully delicious ceviche and lomo Saltado. Before anything else, I do want to say the food was very delicious. It came with not just a higher cost financially but also with our time. We arrived at approximately 12:45. They were very busy and only had one table free, which they had to clear up for us. We were sat by 5 minutes later and we were given menus. About 15 minutes later, a female server came to take our orders, by which point we had each already decided what we wanted. We all asked for waters and 2 beers were ordered. Drinks alone took till 1:15 to get there. We ordered a chicken lomo saltado, a steak lomo saltado, a chaufa steak rice, and a classic fish ceviche. That’s 4 things. We did not get our food until 1:40. No appetizers were ordered as we could not have expected a nearly 40 minute wait for food from the time ordered. My sister was the one who recommended this place to us as she has been here twice with her boyfriend before. She said that while there is a small wait each time it’s nothing like the wait today. The food was good but it wasn’t hot enough for us to feel like the food was just made. It was as though our food had sat for 10 minutes cooling off by the time it got to us. Each dish costs over $20 so while the portions were fair, the meat rations were minimal on each dish. If the delay was due to the kitchen potentially being understaffed, we all felt as though it would’ve been very courteous for the staff to let us know that the food might be a bit of a wait due to that. It is needless to say that we know that they were busy as every table in the restaurant was full, but still 40 minutes for food is a little crazy especially with no warning. After about 80% of our food was consumed already, my father had asked for a side order of beans to accompany his rice. Nearly 20 minutes later the beans were given to us at which point we simply asked for the check because there was no other food on the table. 20 minutes for beans is crazy. Throughout this whole time, our server came to check on us only once and at the end when we asked for a check, we had to flag her down for the check. She never came to check on our table, and she never noticed that our table had finished all the food. Perhaps the worst part of it was that at the end, she had the audacity to ask us how we felt the service in the food was because she noticed we were all visibly irritated at the service and the experience. I’m not sure what she was hoping we would say, but everyone stayed quiet at the table with the exception of my mother who politely told her that while the food was good the service and wait were not to our liking. Nonetheless, we still tipped about $15 on $115 check which is a fair tip considering the level of service we received today. In conclusion, maybe today was a one off experience. My sister said she’d never experienced anything like this here during the other two times that she came here. However, a restaurant needs to be able to function not just when it’s NOT busy, but also when it IS busy. We’re not sure exactly what went wrong today. Maybe they had a server call out or maybe they just didn’t schedule enough servers. Regardless, the fact is that all of this could have been remedied by a courtesy explanation for everything we were going to experience. My sister maintains that she will probably come back here. But as for me and my family… We know to not come back here unless we want to wait an uncomfortably long amount of time for food.
