We finally decided to try La Cantinita and all I can say is… what took us so long?! After being open for nearly two years, we finally stopped in on a Friday night, and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the live mariachi singer was absolutely fantastic—he really made the evening special. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The chips and salsa were fresh and delicious, and both of our meals were packed with flavor. I ordered the chicken fajitas, and my husband had the pollo asado. Both were excellent! We had such a wonderful experience. La Cantinita has definitely earned a spot in our regular restaurant rotation. If you’re looking for great Mexican food, outstanding service, and a fun atmosphere, I highly recommend checking them out—especially on a Friday night when the mariachi singer is there. You won’t be disappointed!

Updated review: The menu itself is good as well as the food. The location is nice and the restaurant seems newish. My biggest caveat with this restaurant is that it is under “new management” The menu is the same as the “old management” and the happy hour that used to be there is no longer honored. The website currently displays a happy hour as of March 2026. Went there around 2:30-3:30 for a lunch under the impression that happy hour was available as it was displayed on the website and was told it is no longer honored. Ended up spending over 100 including tip because there was no happy hour. The food is worth the price but not for a Lunch Hour pricing. Will be happy to return if there was a happy hour. The Dragonfruit Refresher was delicious but for 16.99 when I could go to Carraba’s next door for a Sangria Pint at 24.99 doesn’t beat the price especially for lunch hour. Our server was great and very sweet, food again, was great too but prices are pretty high when other options around the area are as good such as Casa Tequila who offers 5.99 Happy Hour Margs until 7PM. Parking was also difficult as Costco is extremely busy on Saturdays. Went there at that time and shoppers were taking up spaces by the restaurant.

Yani was amazing! She was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent customer service. She made our dining experience even better. We’ll definitely be back and hope to have her as our server again!

Had a great time for my birthday!!! My server Sebastian was very attentive and friendly. Everyone there really is great, everyone greets you and says hello. We were served quickly and food was great!!! Drinks are good too!!! We will be back soon!! Thanks !!!

For the first time, we went to celebrate Mother's Day at this non-traditional place. The music was so loud we couldn't even talk. The service was terrible; a young Colombian girl who knew nothing about Mexican food, and to make matters worse, she never came back to ask if we wanted more drinks, so I only had one beer. That is just one example of the bad service. However, the food was excellent. My compliments to the chef
