Recently visited El Sitio with my friends. The place is very clean and nice. The food was good but not great. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa. The rice and beans was good, loved the sausage, but the chicharron had no salt at all, and the sweet plantains weren't ripe enough. The steak was only ok. The caramel frappe was pretty good, with strong tasting coffee which I love. The prices were great for the amount of food. The service could have been a lot better, the waitress was not attentive at all, she would not even bring the bill when we were done eating until we called her over. We ended up spending about 3 hours there and half the time we were just waiting on her. I wouldn't really visit again.

This is amazzing place for breakfast/brunch/lunch or any other meal. Mix of Colombian, Puerto Rican and Dominican cuisine. I enjoyed and i will be back. Warm reccomendation for everyone who like this kind of vibe and food, half bakery half restaurant.

In the spirit of honesty, here is a synopsis of my recent experience at this establishment. My family of four was extremely excited to come here and we came on Mother’s Day. Anytime we are spending any of our hard earned money, we try to choose small businesses as that is where the best food tends to be and it’s the best way to support our local economy. We had come upon this restaurant after seeing a sponsored review on TikTok for it. The critique in the review was ultimately accurate; the food is fantastic. Genuinely the best Puerto Rican/Dominican style food we have had in Royal Palm Beach, by FAR, and maybe even in all of palm beach county. The closest comparison is El Palacio Del Mofongo on SR7 & Southern, which is nearly double in price. We arrived at approximately 1:15. We sat ourselves as that’s alright to do here. A server handed us menus and walked away. Somewhere between more than 10 but less than 20 minutes later, the server finally came to check on our table. We had already waited so long so we decided to skip appetizers and just order our 4 entrees (see photos enclosed). In hindsight, I am not sure if this was a mistake or not. Had we gotten an appetizer, our entrees would have been just as delayed as I noticed the same problem with other tables who ordered appetizers. Every table there (mind you there were under 15 people/customers total in there including us 4), had to flag down waitresses for everything. It’s clear that the standard of food quality is much MUCH higher than the service experience standard here, which is fine, but then just say that from the beginning to save a customer’s experience. When we finally got our food, somewhere between 30-40 minutes after arriving, both Churassco steaks were genuinely cold. Every side dish was hot/very much above room temperature. The sweet plantains were just freshly fried, the beans were almost boiling (and SO delicious), and the Congri rice had steam coming off of it (best Congri we have had in RPB, followed only by the one at Don Ramon’s). At $22 dollars each Churasco, the idea that both were genuinely not even just not hot but actually cold, is wild. As impatient and as hungry as we were at this point, we flagged down a waitress and asked for one of the churasscos to be rewarmed. Less than 3 minutes later they come back with it. I swear either their microwave is broken (which is unlikely), they microwaved it for exactly 5 seconds expecting genuine results, OR more realistically, they didn’t heat it up at all. That was the final blow in my opinion. We accepted our fate and decided to just use our microwave at home to heat it up, which again we paid for this. We paid over 20 dollars for two orders of a dish that we would have to microwave/heat up ourselves at home. Think about that. That’s all. We paid the check which was nearly $90 after a $5 tip in consideration of the service level and full experience. My partner is a server at another restaurant and a $5 tip is the smallest tip I have ever given at a restaurant as I usually I tip 25%. He fully supported this tip, which coming from a server, think about that too. In conclusion, we will definitely be back here for the food but only for to-go orders. If we were to dine in here again, I would hope that today was a one-off event, and that this experience would not happen again. My mother still had a nice meal which is all that mattered, and she is giving them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they were down a cook, or over-extended on to-go’s or caterings today. Either way, this experience was a shame as we had very high hopes. All in all, the establishment was clean, with a nice ambiance, and freaking fantastic food.

The place is clean the food is very good but the service it’s not good at all. They take a long time to serve you. They don’t even make eye contact with you Don’t even ask is there anything else that you need It’s sad because the place is really pretty. The food is good. They need to work on hiring staff that are more attentive.

Today was a great day we had visited the previous place but happy with the visual improvement and the food today was delicious. We will be regulars here and hope they get the support to thrive.
