5/27/26- 6pm - My husband’s friend had the idea to eat at this restaurant, and I was like, “Not another Italian restaurant.” It seems like some people around me think Italian food is the only way to go. I almost didn’t go. I am not against Italian food but for 30 years this is the cuisine people around seem to choose even for Christmas ofice parties But I have to say, my husband’s friend is a great storyteller and a very funny guy, so there I was at an authentic Italian restaurant, looking for something “not too Italian” on the menu. Good luck with that. We were there for almost two hours. Everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. This is actually the same restaurant where we once had the office Christmas party, so it brought back some memories. I really liked the dessert, but what I enjoyed the most was the company. He told us stories about his PanAm days, that allowed him to travel the world for three years, and Rosa, the Brazilian lady who captured his heart when he was 26. Of course, he said he was a playboy back then, but now in his 60s, she is still the woman he remembers very fondly. She definitely made a lasting impression on him. But I digress, as usual. Marta was excellent. If you see her, tell her I said hello. I was also able to practice my Spanish, and honestly, it is sounding better each time. Little by little, people! We arrived at 6 PM, which for me is basically bedtime. So if you know me, you would say, “Wow, you must be somebody special for her to come out at 6 PM and eat at an Italian restaurant.” Anyhow, it turned out to be a beautiful evening. Good food, good dessert, good stories, and good company. As Proverbs 17:22 says, “A cheerful heart is good medicine.” And Ecclesiastes 3:13 reminds us that enjoying food, drink, and the good of our labor is a gift from God. Lastly, don’t forget to leave a heart. When you do, it pops up on my cell phone, and I get to revisit those sweet and funny little moments all over again. ❤️
We were two couples meeting for lunch on a Friday afternoon. We meet here all the time because it's the mid point from our homes. We enjoy having their authentic Italian pre-fix lunch which includes a soup (lentils) or a salad or their stuffed mozzarella appetizer which two of us had. It was fresh, colorful and delicious. For our main course, two of us had the CAVATELLI FANTASIA VEGETARIANA** Fresh cavatelli pasta, zucchini, red peppers, mushrooms and onions tossed with olive oil, sundried tomato pesto and topped with garlic crunchy breadcrumbs. The other two had FETTUCCINE ALLA BOLOGNESE Homemade fresh fettuccine pasta with all beef meat sauce. All entrees were amazing. For dessert we had the ricotta cheesecake- worth every calorie and the flourless chocolate cake. The dinner is $28 but there is an additional $12 for the entrees that include fish or veal. Unfortunately, the service was not good this time. We were the only party sitting outside on the patio and there were only a handful of people eating inside. Our waitress basically forgot about us. She didn't take our order until we complained. Our friends expressed that we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and they asked the desk at the very beginning to put a candle in our dessert. They totally forgot and had to be reminded after our desserts came out. To save face, they brought out the lemon sorbet with the candle. We don't understand why the service wasn't up to par especially with so few patrons to deal with. Of course the food is paramount in our review. We will probably return in the future but hope that the service returns to excellent.
I would say the restauant is one of the best in Palm Beach Gardens. Pricey? Yes but one gets what they pay for. We can hear each other speak. Not loud clanging dishes all around. It is an elegant restaurant, service impecable as well. For those who have acid reflux issues this is the place for you. My favorite? Oh my, the tortellini on a long thin plate with sage and butter sauce. Ir's the best. I could eat it every day! So please do not change it. Friendly, waiters as well. Will be back soon. It has class and a lovely calm atmosphere about it as what is perfect for a romanitic evening for dining with peace.
Very nice italian restaurant. Sat outside on a beautiful evening. My dirty gin martini tasted funny, so they made me a new one and it was perfect. They couldn't have been more accommodating. All the food was delicious. We had the bolognese and orecchiette with broccoli rabe and sausage were both great. Caesar salad with anchovy was also very good. Another friend had the chicken parm, which is not on the menu but they happily made. Not inexpensive, but worth the price of admission.
My husband and I ate here the evening of May 24, 2026. The waitress was terrific. Portions were very large. The duck was fatty and the rice was too salty, highly recommend you avoid it. The grilled kitchen too well done!
