Ordered take out. Picked up food but restaurant smelled fishy. Ordered some rolls, my daughter couldn’t eat them, I ordered lobster, was way over cooked and flavorless. Had a lot of black veins. Ordered Krab Rangoons that were cold and too sweet. 2 salads came with it and rice. Place was packed so take my review with your own opinion. I’m never going back. Will finish our dinner with a piece of toast.$98for this stuff. No thanks.

I've been to this restaurant multiple times. & Everytime, I have a great experience. The food is fresh, & made with care. I'm very picky when it comes to seafood, & fish, they're using fresh, never frozen. Because of how good the food is, it's expanded the list of things I will try ! The Spicy Tuna roll, & Crazy Roll are 10/10 , + I always enjoy their Summer rolls ! Not to mention, the prices are unmatched compared to other sushi restaurants in the area , very affordable! Now I won't go to other sushi places when I'm in the area. If you're contemplating coming here, take the chance & try something new, you won't regret it !

I have been going to the Boca Raton location since they opened over 20 years ago and it was reliably amazing. I moved to Delray Beach four years ago, and was pleased to find this location in Boynton Beach. Unfortunately, it does not compare at all. I feel compelled to leave this review, however, as I just left after placing an order to go. I spent close to $70 on sushi and requested one side of yellow sauce and two sides of Kimchi sauce. The man at the front argued with me for five minutes claiming he would need to charge me two dollars for each sauce. He even tried to tell me that it's because they imported from somewhere far away lol. When I went to pick up my food after paying the fee, there was only one side of Kimchi sauce in a tiny container that was half the size of the to go container that came with the soy sauce. There was no eel sauce. I asked the man how much she would charge me for the sauces I requested and he said five dollars. He charged me $5.33 for three sides of dipping sauce for the sushi rolls and sashimi platter I ordered. He was rude, argumentative, and clearly cares. Nothing about the image reflected on this one trusted namesake. I will not go back again.

Boca is hands down the best Sushi Yama location. I called this location and asked a simple question, and the response I got was basically, “SIR…” in a very impatient tone… I had to soften her tone agreeing to her aggressiveness😅 Like damn, I’m calling to give YOU my money. The vibe felt impatient and more focused on the transaction than the customer experience. On top of that, the food just wasn’t on the same level. The Boca Palmetto location is the gold standard. The staff is friendly, the service is consistent, and the food is always on point. The atmosphere feels welcoming instead of rushed. The Clematis location is decent, but the Boca Palmetto team is the GOAT of all Sushi Yama locations. If I’m spending my money anywhere, that’s where I’m going. The difference in customer service alone is noticeable.
