We had read great reviews of this place and wanted to stop by but didn’t get a chance to make reservations due to an unsure schedule. This weekend we decided to stop by and ask in person if there were any seats available. We asked the hostess if any seats were available and she said we could try the bar. At first we didn’t see any but Anthony checked and found us two spots at the end! Side note -as we waited outside while Anthony checked we got to interact with the hostess and Christine and they were lovely. We also got to witness a lady being verbally difficult about her reservation & table and the hostess and Christine handled it with grace. Back to Anthony, he was warm, friendly & enthusiastic which we loved! Kathleen was our waitress at the bar and she was amazing! She was knowledgeable and passionate about the menu explaining she has been there for many years. She was attentive and joyful but didn’t linger. She was a delight! The seafood mac n cheese is DELICIOUS! We couldn’t believe how much flavor it had and it had the perfect amount of sauce (we don’t like dry mac n cheese). We also had oysters, the snapper & chocolate flourless cake and all were fabulous! The service, atmosphere, food, staff and owners made our night special and we will never forget it! We can’t thank them enough it means more than we can explain! Highly recommend coming here!

I wanted to write a review of J&J Seafood in Delray Breach. Chef Armando, Owner Anthony, waitress Regina, and the hostess Meryll continue to make every visit unforgettable. The transition has been completely seamless — honestly, it only keeps getting better. We are a flight crew that travels to South Florida several times each month, and many years ago we stumbled upon this little restaurant tucked into an unassuming building. From the very first visit, the food was incredible, but what truly kept us coming back was the people. Over 20 years later, the staff remains the same, and every visit still feels like coming home. We are always greeted with smiles, warmth, and the feeling that we’re dining with family rather than at a restaurant. As usual, we made reservations for a Tuesday night — our second night in town — and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Tonight we enjoyed the seafood mixed grill, which was perfectly prepared and incredibly fresh, followed by a rich flourless chocolate cake that was absolutely exceptional. In an industry where consistency is rare, this restaurant continues to exceed expectations year after year. Five stars simply are not enough.

Love it here. Being a small spot, it has a lot of character... excellent chow, great service, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. The husband-and-wife owners are clearly hands-on... stopping by tables, checking in with guests, and keeping a watchful eye on everything. It’s obvious they care and truly want you to have a great time here. I called for a reservation and it was basically sold out... when they said they could take me at 5pm, I grabbed it. Was actually perfect as I was heading over to see the tennis tournament after dinner. On arrival, the place was empty. As expected, when we left, it was completely full. A half bottle of Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay was perfect with my lobster. The wine list isn’t extensive, but it’s well chosen and fairly priced. The food was excellent across the board. A special of Scallops, Crab Cake, topped with Shrimp over Vegetables was fantastic. My guest enjoyed the Clams Oreganata. I loved my Baked Stuffed Lobster (stuffed with crab), served with amazing Mashed Potatoes... and bonus points for a real hand towel after the lobster. Of course, I had to try the key lime pie... very good. Now I understand why this casual, unassuming spot is so popular... it hits on every note. I noticed a bunch of regulars dining at the bar, which looked perfect to me. The bar is walk-in only... so next time I don’t have dinner plans, I’ll remember I can just walk in and try for a seat. I’m sure I’ll see two familiar faces... the owners, Anthony and Christine. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I had a wonderful experience at this seafood restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, especially in the seafood dishes, which were cooked perfectly. The service was attentive and friendly, making the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting—perfect for enjoying a great meal. Overall, a great spot for seafood lovers. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it!

Was blown away by the food! Ask for the off-menu linguine with clams - the best I’ve ever had! Red snapper was fresh and the sauce was to die for. Jumbo lump crab was high quality. Very comfortable ambiance where you’re never rushed. Such a gem!
