About the Place: Taj Express is a small, no-frills "hole in the wall" eatery. The dining area was completely empty during my visit, which immediately set a quiet and somewhat uninviting tone. The space feels functional but lacks any notable ambience or warmth. About the Food: I asked for their best or most famous dish and was recommended a Thali featuring Goat Curry, Chana Masala, Rice, Naan, and a sweet. The flavors across the board were average, and the Goat Curry was unexpectedly sweet, which threw off the traditional balance. I also tried the chicken Biryani based on their suggestion, but it was equally underwhelming and lacked depth or fragrance. Overall: Unfortunately, this visit was a disappointment. While the staff seemed willing, the food didn't deliver on flavor or authenticity, and the empty dining room made the experience feel lackluster. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for this spot unless you're in the area and curious.

Quaint restaurant in shopping center just.off blades and 2nd ave near 7-11. Decorated very on theme inside and quick service. Have friends who said the food was good and they were right. Several years ago I wrnt to this location but inside it felt lime it.wad transitioning from different food so wasnt sure what to expect. The food is very reasonable priced and excellent. Got chicken madras and veggie Pancras. Was not disappointed. So close to work and easy inexpensive lunch option. Thank you!

If you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine with a side of hospitality that makes you feel like royalty, this is the place to be. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance set the tone with a warm and inviting space that is tastefully decorated with a touch of traditional elegance. The service was absolutely top notch. The staff were incredibly attentive without being overbearing. They checked in at all the right moments, offered great recommendations, and made sure every part of the dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. Now let’s talk about the food, especially the butter chicken, which was out of this world. I’ve tried butter chicken at many places and this one stands out completely. The gravy was rich and creamy with the perfect balance of spice and sweetness. The chicken was tender and cooked to perfection. Pair it with fresh garlic naan and you have a meal you’ll be thinking about for days. Everything else we ordered was equally impressive, from the flavourful butter chicken to the soft and warm gulab jamun for dessert. The portions were generous and the presentation was excellent. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both five star food and five star service but this restaurant truly delivers. Whether you’re new to Indian food or a lifelong fan, I highly recommend visiting. A perfect experience in every way. I am definitely coming back and bringing more friends with me.

I decided to try this place because it was recommended to me by a friend. Upon entering it was a very welcoming ambiance. The walls have a wonderful mural depicting their culture with elephants and people going about daily life and such. I was greeted with a huge smile by the kind register cashier who patiently waited for me to decided my order. I got the Thali Platter, which included an Entree, a side and dessert, And a Fresh Mango Lassi. My entire order Including tip was $27.48. Guys let me tell you, for how delicious the food was the price was WORTH IT!! 10/10 recommending this place and trust I will be back :))
