I come here pretty often, so I’m honestly really disappointed writing this, but I feel like it needs to be said because this wasn’t okay. My friend and I walked into an empty store—chairs were up on tables and mats were rolled up and covering the garbage can. There was no greeting at first. Then one employee came out, and another came out actively eating something. She literally licked her fingers one by one and then immediately started making my bowl without washing her hands or putting gloves on. That is honestly really concerning and not sanitary at all. I didn’t say anything in the moment because I don’t feel like it’s my place to correct staff—that’s a management issue—but I am bringing it to your attention because it should not be happening. I’m also in the hospitality industry myself—I manage a restaurant—so I understand how important proper hygiene, food safety, and professionalism are, and this really stood out to me. Another thing was I ordered steak and was told it would take 5–7 minutes, even though the restaurant was completely empty and didn’t seem set up for service. While we were eating, the employees were also being very loud and unprofessional. When I went to throw my trash out, the garbage was blocked by the rolled-up mats, and I was told to open a cabinet myself. As a customer, I shouldn’t have to do that, and it felt pretty gross. I ended up just throwing my trash out in a public garbage outside. I’ve been here a lot and never had an experience like this, but between the hygiene issues and overall lack of professionalism, this visit showed me that I will never be back again. I hope this gets addressed.

I was recommended to this place by a friend as a better alternative to the build-a-bowl style chain restaurant and I’m so happy I stopped in. This location was clean and welcoming with a fun avocado theme throughout. The staff was friendly and very helpful, Madi suggested the Mediterranean guac with feta and it was so delicious and unlike any guac I’ve had before. I look forward to stopping in again soon to try more of the menu!

Was nearby getting my car fixed and wanted a meal and saw this place so gave it a try, walked in was greeted by friendly staff and got caught up on the menu. Food was very delicious would definitely be coming back.
