For the special occasion out this steakhouse has all that you expect from a quality eatery. Excellent service, age beef, custom cocktails and creative desserts. Ordered my favorite 20 oz Ribeye with peppercorn sauce. Steak was perfectly cooked at medium rare. Sides of family size Brussel sprouts, scalloped potatoes and asparagus was all excellent. Old fashioned was smooth and came with awesome cherrys, don't know what kind. Keeping the capital grill on my list and will be back for another special occasion. Be prepared for the bill.

Getting a reservation at The Capital Grille in Boca Raton on a Friday was very smooth, and we were able to sit down right away. Our server, Michael, was excellent. He was super friendly, funny, and made the dining experience very pleasant. Bone-In Prime Ribey was really good, enough for 2 adults ***if you want to add even more flavor, definitely ask for their sauces on the side. We tried a few, including the au poivre (peppercorn) and the signature steak sauce, and they were delicious. For dessert, a combination of all their signatures was the best move The only downside was the valet service outside. When it was time to pick up our car, they didn't seem to have any records of it. They did get it sorted out in the end, but the organization at the valet stand could definitely be improved.

The Capital Grille in Boca Raton was very nice! The food was excellent, the staff was incredibly friendly, and, of course, the atmosphere was electric on a Saturday night. We ordered "The Doli" cocktail, which was amazing. We also ordered the bone-in ribeye, the dry aged porterhouse, the lobster mac & cheese, and the au gratin potatoes. All are a must! The bill did come out to be on the pricey side, but you can't put a price on a good meal and a great evening! I highly recommend this restaurant for not just the food, but for any and all occasions!

Steak, happens to be my favorite food and Capital Grill is by far my favorite restaurant. For me it starts with the General Manager named Bobby Boribong. A tremendous person, very accommodating and makes sure that your experience is nothing short of amazing. The staff are amazing, my wife and I had 2 staff members, Emily and Nat. These 2 people are absolutely amazing and made the experience that much better. The decor is nothing but great, dark wood great details on the wall and very comfortable seating. To me I like a steakhouse were you are not sitting on top of people and can’t carry on a conversation at your own table. Capital Grill did a great job there and get a 10 in that department. Now the best part. I had the Porcini- Rubbed in Bone-in Ribeye with a 15-Year Age Balsamic Glazed, gives you that sweet flavor. I have been to hundreds of steakhouses throughout the country and this steak 🥩 by far is the best I have ever had. If I had to rate this steak by David Portnoy who I admire and respect for his work ethic that he puts into pizza, I would give this particular Ribeye and this Capital Grill in Boca Raton with Bobby and this amazing staff a 9.8. I would’ve given it a 10.0, but Dave Portnoy says you just can’t give a 10.0, because that would mean flawless and perfection, however this score of a 9.8 is ELITE and this means you drive 4 hours to this Capital Grill in Boca Raton Florida. Great job Bobby👏🥩🍷

We have enjoyed The Capital Grille many times over the decades. We've been away for six years and we're vacationing back in Boca Raton, looking forward to our usual fantastic experience at one if our favorite restaurants. Alas, that was not to be. The first hint that things were not the same was the preponderance of men in t shirts and shorts. This used to be a fine dining experience, not Denny's. If business is so bad that you forgo your dress code to bring people in, you're in trouble. The second hint was that the person who brought us to our table didn't welcome us or speak to us at all. When she stopped near a table, she pointed and we had to ask if this was our table. She pointed again. No words, no feeling of being welcome. Looking around, we noticed the lack of experience in the wait staff. That's not to say that young people can't be excellent waitstaff. But capital grille used to have the most professional, helpful, knowledgeable staff that made the night enjoyable. We were approached by a very young waiter and asked for our water choice, not listing what our choices were. Then, there was no inquiry into a wine or cocktail choice... So we didn't order any. We were looking forward to our favorite wine but if the waiter wasn't interested in serving wine, we weren't interested in asking. We ordered the prosciutto mozzarella appetizer and our mains/side. The appetizer came out and the waiter quickly disappeared... For a long time. Why? The food was burnt beyond being edible. Insulting as it was to be served burnt food, the worst of the burnt food was flipped to the bottom to try and hide the insipid state of the food's condition. What was the cook thinking? That this would be acceptable? Yet it made it through the pass, not caught by the expediter or accepted by them, then served by our waiter who ghosted us. When he finally came to our table and inquired as to how we're doing (as if looking at our clean plates and uneaten appetizer didn't say enough), we pointed out how badly burnt the good was. To which he replied "You don't like it like that?" At that point we asked to have our check cleared so we could leave and find a restaurant that actually cared. The manager was brought over (never saw that young waiter again), and the first thing the manager said when he arrived at our table was "That's burnt!". At least someone recognizes failure when they see it. Long story short (too late), our check was cleared, the manager apologized profusely, gave us a gift card to further his apology and we left, easily finding another restaurant in Boca Raton to enjoy our night. The Capital Grille is done for. Low standards, horrible service and immature cooking, rudeness and no class. We'll never return.
