Excellent food, atmosphere, service. Ny strip/Ribeye were perfectly cooked. Oxtail pasta & Mac were also very very delicious. App/entree/sides are ordered at once so the timing of each plate was perfect. We came here for a birthday dinner booked online through opentable..they brought over a complimentary dessert + knew who the birthday boy was! (I didn’t tell them who) The attention to detail was very impressive. Many steakhouses in the area are way too packed and loud, so I don’t go.. but Nicholson Muir was calm, cozy, intimate, which made the food more enjoyable. (We dined on a Tuesday night)

Came here because of the chase credit card perks. Reservations were easy, the ambiance was nice, it was a Friday and the dining room was slow. I asked if we could change tables, and despite there being only 2 other occupied tables they said it was too much moving around… kind of odd but whatever. The menu was good, a nice selection. The wine list was also extensive. For the price we paid though, I expected a touch better service. Overall it was good, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to dine here again. The free parking lot was a nice perk.

If we want to get out of the house for a special occasion, this is our place. Small, cozy, and with a very warm atmosphere. The staff is always attentive, kind, and punctual with reservations. The menu is small — and we actually love that. It says a lot about the restaurant: quality before quantity. Every dish feels specially prepared and thoughtfully done. Don’t miss the margaritas or the great selection of Argentine wines. The octopus with huancaína is amazing, and the risotto is a must. To end the night, order the crepes (if available) — they’re a real treat. Highly recommend for a special night out!

I can't gate keep, this place is beyond amazing. We had the best meal we've had in years here. They don't just consider flavors, but the texture of dishes were perfection as well. Not since being in Europe have I had better quality food. The service was 10/10 as well. Better than some Michelin star restaurants I've been to.

Can I leave more than 5 stars? Everything about this place was incredible. The ambiance was everything - felt like a cozy speakeasy in upstate New York. The service was the best I’ve ever experienced. Everyone checked in on us constantly not in an anxious way but so kind and inquisitive. We received so many wonderful recommendations from the staff, honestly next time I won’t even make any decisions because I fully trust what they recommend will be amazing. We split the following: crispy, creamy, octo, amatriciana, filet and chocolate bread pudding. Absolutely perfect order. The chef offered a buffalo bites amuse bouche which was incredible. The cocktails were great. I can’t wait to come back! Bravo James and Nick and the entire team 🤗
