There were 4 of us traveling from West coast and willing to try traditional Eastern European place! I follow their social media page, and got very excited that this place was just 30 minutes from Fort Lauderdale where we were vacationing! Extensive menu! Every dish was perfectly seasoned, very authentic and beautifully presented! We felt very welcomed from the moment we stepped inside! Anastasia our server was very caring and attentive to every detail provided amazing hospitality! Thank you for making us feel at home! We’ll be back next time we’re in town! If you haven’t tried this place, you should! Highly recommend to visit! Thank you!♥️

Used to be good but now unfortunately has average food, exorbitant prices and unatentive service. As mentioned, Beluga used to be good: the service was welcoming and the food was delicious which made the prices worth it. In my last visit to Beluga, we were immediately treated impolitely upon entering. The girl at the desk seemed bothered by us and addressed us in quite an unpleasant tone. This energy persisted from this individual, ignoring us on multiple occasions later, during the meal when we were looking to order and get the check. After we were seated and a member of our group had gone to the bathroom, we told our waitress that it was their birthday and politely asked to add candles to their dessert. Spoilers: not only did the waitress completely ignore our request but she mentioned the surprise in front of our friend when they got back. She clearly heard the request enough to spoil the surprise but not enough to do the work. Now let's talk about the food. Remember how I said the food used to be worth the price? Well ... not anymore! The food we had was very average, if not below average on some dishes. The manty (meat dumplings) were quite dry and felt as though taken out of a frozen bag and boiled. The price for these frozen dumplings was enough to buy a homemade main course anywhere else. Furthermore, to bring the point further about how this restaurant has changed, the outdoor area was completely trashed and full of garbage and food during the whole the duration of our meal. I thought that perhaps the previous group had just left, but nothing had been done about it during an hour. Photo attached. It's very sad to see a good restaurant turn into a waste of money and time. I truly hope that beluga fixes their internal staffing and quality control problems. I do not recommend coming to Beluga, unless of course you'd like to blow 90+ dollars on an average meal.

beautiful outdoor waterside seating. DJ Saturday nights. Place had a very nice aesthetic. Food was also very good, especially the doughy bread covered in cheese and egg. The dumplings were also very nice

Amazing food however the service left something to be desired. We asked for water twice but never got any, we got our food before our cocktails. Servers were running from table to table and it really wasn’t that busy. Great food but not sure we’d go back.

Beluga — a Russian restaurant with a strong Uzbek influence. The atmosphere is pleasant and cozy, with a nice waterfront view. Food: tasty overall, though some dishes, especially meat and sides, could be a bit more flavorful. Staff: slightly tired, not very smiley, service is adequate but not outstanding. Verdict: a decent spot for dinner if you want to explore Russian-Uzbek cuisine, though small service and flavor quirks hold it back from being exceptional.
