El Camino is easily one of my favorite spots for happy hour in the area. The classic margaritas are excellent, and I really appreciate that they ask if you prefer salt or sugar on the rim, it’s a small detail that makes a difference. At around $6, it’s also a great deal. The food is solid overall, and the salsas served with the tacos and chips are especially outstanding. The place gets busy, so be prepared to wait a bit, there’s usually a line for happy hour tables, which says a lot about how popular and worth it it is. Service is mostly great, the hostess and most of the staff are friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The only downside has been one server who consistently has a poor attitude, not just with me but with other guests as well, which can affect the experience. Overall, still a go-to spot for happy hour, great drinks, good food, and a lively atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out.
We love happy Hour at WPB El Caminos. Food is always great thanks to the chefs, we have our favorite servers as today was Allie, she is awesome. Very professional, friendly, helpful and kind. She is a true asset to El Caminos. Thank you Allie for all your awesome service. We always look for you being our favorite. Atmosphere is fun and energetic, just a great vibe!
Cute spot with great food and drinks. We opted to sit outside and enjoy the view and we were not disappointed. There is a daily happy hour that starts at 4pm. The music was great and you can still have a conversation without yelling. The queso came out hot and fresh with chips. They have a homemade salsa that has a kick. The tacos were RICO!!! Too full for dessert but I’ll definitely come back.
This place was top notch. Beautiful surroundings/decor. Service was extremely attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Food was excellent, priced well and their tequila menu is over the top! Worth the visit just to experience the taste of their spicy avocado margaritas. I know....sounds gross but if you like avacado, don't miss this one!
Not that I don't expect good Hispanic food in Florida, but this place is great. Stopped here for a quick lunch. First the margarita menu had quite a few to choose from and they all looked amazing. I had a mango chipotle margarita and it was spicy and sweet and just enough tequila to taste it without taking over the other flavors. My wife had a blood orange margarita, she says it was verrry good. We had the chips and salsa, which come with a tangy, limey, green salsa and a smokey and spicy red salsa. I had 3 tacos with black beans and rice. The black beans were kinda smokey and had a bacon taste. I had one chorizo, one shrimp, and one pork belly taco. The pork belly was sweet and buttery. It was pretty good but not my favorite of the three. The chorizo was what I was expecting with ground chorizo, it was very flavorful. The shrimp was the best of the three with a sauce that just helped to bring it all together. My wife had the short rib empanadas. She said they were very tasty, a little thick on the breading, but she is pretty picky about her empanadas. The real star of the show was there homemade picante/ taco sauce, it was extremely good and I put it on almost everything. The servers, hosts and bussers were all very amazing and so very friendly. Everything I had was gluten free, with food, drinks, and tip it came to about $90. Over all very good experience in West Palm Beach. Thanks for lunch!!
