With all of the sushi options in and around Delray, I was skeptical that this would be any better than the best we already have. But dang if Double Knot didn’t come out swinging! There’s nothing to not like about this place. Even the HH menu is outstanding. The atmosphere is top ten, the bar service (Thanks Nikki) elevated, and the food….go and try for yourself…if you’re underwhelmed then don’t go back, we will be happy to take your seat :) On the HH menu we enjoyed the salmon and short rib Robatayaki. Other items off the regular menu: Edamame dumplings, chicken bao, toro caviar, and toro hamachi. All of which were exceptional. Even the condiments were phenomenal…the mustard and soy are truly unique, elevate the offerings, and will be sought after. Welcome to the neighborhood Double Knot, we’re glad to have you.

The restaurant is beautiful and modern, very dimly lite so bring your flashlight to read the menu. Service was wonderful and attentive. We were interested in trying their chef’s tasting menu if 10 dishes for $78 but whole table will have to order the same items but decide to try some items first on their daily happy hour 4-6 throughout the entire restaurant, an extensive menu of appetizers but only 2 drink specials, neither of which we liked. The pork belly bao: extremely dry and boring, not much flavor or texture. The ribeye scallion and short rib robatayaki where the ribeye was the star but beef was rare in the center on both. Soba noodles were meh. Kim Chee fried rice bland with no “fried” wok hai flavor. Pork potstickers, meat was a bit dense and it sat in the soy dipping sauce which made it too salty and it was a bit too acidic for my liking. Spicy tuna and shrimp tempura rolls were a bit underdressed and rice was gummy. Karage was ok but not as crispy as most and it was barely touched by either of us. Honestly I would only order the ribeye scallion robatayaki again. We may return to try the other dishes but overall very disappointing

Came on a Friday night around 10 PM with a reservation and we receded promptly and our order was taken quickly, ordered an espresso, martini, and food wise ordered edamame, the crispy, brussels sprouts, chicken thigh, and some of the hand rolls and the octopus carpaccio. The brussels sprouts chicken thigh and octopus carpaccio were incredible, the hand rolls were just ok, and the edamame was a bit dry and not super warm or salted very well. I will say the brussels sprouts were probably a top brussels sprout I’ve ever had. The aesthetics of the restaurant is really nice, but it was a bit too dimly lit to where I had to pull out my flashlight to see the menu at the table, which is new for me. They were kind enough to provide me with a dessert on the house to honor my birthday, which was very nice. I would definitely come back and try some of the other foods as well but overall very nice restaurant.

Delicious food and even better service!! We had the best time with Sunny, and cannot recommend the food enough! Highly recommend all the Robatayakis which are their Japanese skewers. Their drinks were delish as well 🤤 Will 100% be back!

We visited Double Knot on its opening night, and Sonny was an absolute delight. We had a lively group of ten girls, and he managed to handle us with ease. Our table enjoyed his exceptional service, and he made our visit an absolute blast. The ambiance was stunning, and the food was simply delicious. We can’t wait to return to Double Knot. Thank you, Sonny!
