my friends and I stopped into the Lighthouse diner after watching the sunrise today! We were greeted by the coziest atmosphere, coastal charm with a hint of nostalgia. We all enjoyed our food and the service was so kind. Would love to come back soon!

Stop by here for breakfast with my grandsons they both ordered the biscuits and gravy one got to scrambled egg with it I ordered the eggs benedict. Neither boy liked the biscuits and gravy which they normally love so I tasted it thinking it was just them. Nope didn't like it either. I ordered the eggs benedict which is my favorite breakfast but it too was disappointing and lacked flavor. My coffee cup sat empty for 5 minutes at least waiting for our server to come by. My grandson's drink cup also sat empty. We were never once asked how was everything. Had I been I probably wouldn't have been leaving this review. But after paying $7 for one scrambled egg and $57 for breakfast for one adult and three small kids that wasn't even very good. We will not be back. I don't like leaving negative reviews like this however this was a huge disappointment. The pictures of the biscuits and gravy are both before and after as they couldn't eat it

Very unacceptable. My first time for pickup, this is not biscuits and gravy? More like leftover sliced bread. Super dry and inedible. 0/10. Drove 26 miles to try. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Lighthouse Diner deserves every one of these five stars! The food was outstanding from start to finish. We ordered a burger, stuffed French toast, and pancakes, and every dish was delicious. The portions were generous, the quality was excellent, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. The service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself was spotless, organized, and welcoming. What truly sets Lighthouse Diner apart, though, is the incredible kindness of its people. My husband accidentally left his wallet behind, and Doreen, the manager, went above and beyond to get it back to us. She spent an entire week trying to track us down, called us, and is even mailing the wallet back. In a world where that level of honesty and genuine care is becoming rare, Doreen restored our faith in people. She is an absolute sweetheart, and her compassion and integrity say everything about the character of this restaurant. We’ll definitely be back—not just for the amazing food, but to thank Doreen with the hug she deserves. If you’re looking for great food served by genuinely wonderful people, Lighthouse Diner is the place.
