At Carmela Westlake, they took the time to ask how I was feeling and what I was looking for, then based on that prepared a gentle, aromatic coffee that was exactly what my mind and body needed in that moment. That level of personalized attention is extraordinarily rare and genuinely valuable. The shop itself is a place that invites both reflection and enjoyment: thoughtful décor, perfectly curated music, comforting aromas, and a consistently pleasant temperature. The Nutella croissants are addictive in the best possible sense. Every member of the staff works with a dedication and warmth that make Carmela Westlake truly special. Visit it without hesitation — you will love it!

If you're in Westlake or Lox and haven't checked out Carmela Coffee yet, do yourself a favor and fix that immediately. The coffee is outstanding. They source their beans from their own family-run farm in Costa Rica's West Valley and roast them in small batches right here in Boca Raton. You can taste the difference. Every drink feels intentional and expertly crafted. My go-to is either a cappuccino or a Chai Tea Latte, and Carmela nails both of them. The espresso is rich and bold, and the chai is one of the best I've had. Period. Now let's talk about the food. Everything is scratch-made with real ingredients and zero shortcuts, and you can tell. The avocado toast is absolutely ridiculous (in the best way). It's huge, loaded, and they have like 8 different variations to choose from, including a Caprese, Smoked Salmon & Egg, and a Burrata & Prosciutto that I'd recommend to anyone. If you're more of a pastry person, grab the almond croissant. Trust me on that one. If you work from home, this place is a breath of fresh air. It hits that perfect sweet spot of busy enough to feel energized but quiet enough to actually stay productive. The WiFi is fast AND free, so you can post up with your laptop, grab a great coffee, and knock out some serious work. It's become my go-to spot when I need to get out of the house and change up the scenery. The staff here really sets the place apart, though. Warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they're doing. You can feel it the second you walk in. The shop itself is beautiful inside and out (with outdoor seating!), and the whole vibe just works. Carmela Coffee is exactly the kind of spot every neighborhood deserves. Great coffee, incredible food, and people who actually care. Five stars, no hesitation.

I absolutely loved this coffee shop! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the kind of place you can relax in for hours. The coffee was smooth, rich, and clearly made with care — you can taste the difference right away. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. My fiancé and I just recently moved out to Westlake and we’re in search of a new local coffee shop. We found Carmela and decided to give it a try this morning. We absolutely lovedddd it!!! The vibe inside is rustic and beautiful, and it was so clean!!! The girls working behind the counter were so sweet and accommodating! I asked her if she could add a touch more coffee to make my coffee a little less sweet, and she brewed me a fresh shot of espresso to add. We will definitely be coming back here. Looking like Carmela is our new local coffee spot!
