The Chillroom is definitely my favorite Kava Bar around! It’s family owned, good clean fun. Peaceful co-working cafe vibes during the daytime, and at night it becomes more lively like a night club without the alcohol! If you’re looking to go out and socialize without drinking alcohol this is THE SPOT. Their coffee is amazing from Hawaii ☕️ They have the most premium kava and tea, and the open mic night on Wednesday is always great entertainment!

This place used to be amazing. But over the last six months, while the quality of the food and beverages has remained the same, which has always been amazing, the attitudes of people behind the bar, and management, has been abysmal to say the least. We came in a few weeks ago, and overheard management talking very loudly about the vape shop, and that they do not ID people, hearing the phrase "If we don't sell it to them, they're just going to get it somewhere else” referring to selling vapes to those that are underage. The gentleman that was working the vape shop that morning seemed uncomfortable with doing so. I've also learned more about a new bar that opened down the road through this same manager or owner talking about it than by actually seeing this other bar online, or visiting them, hearing them say they will ban anyone from this bar if they visit this other bar. We thought it was just a bad day, and decided to go back a couple days ago. Upon arrival, We waited 20 minutes for our bartender to even acknowledge we were sitting at the bar, as she was more comfortable talking about nails and a vacation than anything else. We felt invisible. A couple years ago, this place was lively, entertaining, a place where everyone can be friends and share a shell together. while the food and drinks have stayed the same, the drama is slowly killing this business. I hope this place can return to what it used to be.

Great place to chill at literally lol. You can't help but feel like an outsider when u walk in you have to hunt down staff and it's impossible to differentiate between patrons and workers. If you can call it working. Cool vibe friendly people but you need help getting a vape or have a question good luck. Largely ignored. Basically a bunch of cool kids pretending it matters to be cool.

I don't know that the Chill Room is a hidden gem, because it was pretty crowded on a Sunday night. That happens to be their Poker night, so it makes complete sense. However, I think the staff, service, food, ambience, and kava are what make this place exceptional. I had been to a couple kava bars but Colton did an outstanding job of explaining the differences between the Kava and Kratom and the effects. He even did a do-over when my guest finally arrived. With such insightful guidance, I went with his recommendation of the double dragon, choosing the green tea and a shot of kava. Colton may have okay taste in English football, amazing taste in Italian football, but his choices in drinks are unparalleled. The drink was delicious, not too sweet, and perfectly balanced. If I'm being honest, this was the first time I actually felt the effects of kava. Outside, of Colton, the vibes are inviting and intimate, but not exclusive. The decor and music create a very relaxing atmosphere, which is conducive to the experience. There's a pool table and game room, a stage area, and a bar, in addition to all the couches and seats around. I didn't have any if the food this time, but they have lovely cakes and pastries, as well a pizzas and bar food. If the food is as well crafted as the rest of the place, I'll definitely be eating here next time. It's a bit of a journey for me, but the experience is well worth it. Will try to see what bands perform there and try to catch one that I like. If you're looking for a place to relax and have a great time, the Chill Room OG location is the one you want.
