NEVS Barbecue: A Holy Smokes Experience Next to the Publix. I walked into this place hungry, cynical, and fully prepared to critique it like a stern food critic who has seen it all and who knows good barbecue after having hailed from Kansas and the Deep South. It is tucked away in an unassuming plaza right next to Publix—hardly where you expect to find a culinary awakening. But good grief, I left so converted that I immediately booked my family’s entire 4th of July feast right then and there. This place is an absolute slice of heaven. Let’s talk about the food, because it’s borderline criminal how good it is. I’ve had barbecue all over, but the burnt ends here rival absolutely anything Texas has to offer. The burnt ends melts in your mouth like meat-flavored butter. Then came the collard greens, which are officially the best I have ever had in my life. And the cornbread? One bite of that will straight up make your eyes roll to the back of your head. Do not sleep on the baked beans either; they are so thick and loaded they are practically a standalone meal in and of themselves. Beyond the plate, the vibe is just spectacular. The staff members are super friendly, and the manager has an infectious enthusiasm that makes you want to hang out in the kitchen with them. The entire joint is remarkably clean, and they pay attention to the smallest details—they even provide real lemon juice to squirt into your iced tea or water. If you are looking for life-changing BBQ hidden in plain sight, this is it.

It lives up to the hype! What a great spot and experience we had today. I first had their Brisket, part of a breakfast sandwich at the Pumphouse in WPB. It’s kind of an injustice on how flavorful this brisket fresh from the restaurant. This is definitely my top three in briskets I’ve tried in my lifetime. Tommy the owner was there and does share his customer service skills. He does go around and would ask if you enjoyed your meal. Along with the employees that go table to table to check on your experience. We also tried a Sausage sandwich which was perfect. And the baked beans and a Fire Mac and Cheese. We topped it all off with the jalapeño corn bread. What a complete hit at this BBQ joint. The restaurant is very clean and kept in tidy shape. Looking forward to my next visit.

If you're looking for the best BBQ in Palm Beach Gardens, look no further than Nev's BBQ — this place is absolutely phenomenal. We ordered for an office lunch and from the moment the food arrived, that deep, rich smoky aroma filled the entire room and everyone stopped what they were doing. This is the kind of BBQ that reminds you why slow-cooked, real smoked meat is in a league of its own. We ordered the burnt ends, smoked turkey, French fries, coleslaw, and mac & cheese — and every single item delivered. The burnt ends were the star of the show: perfectly caramelized, melt-in-your-mouth, with a smoky depth that was absolutely unreal. The smoked turkey was incredibly juicy and packed with that same bold smokiness — not something you expect from turkey, but Nev's pulls it off beautifully. The sides held their own too — the mac & cheese was creamy and rich, the coleslaw was fresh and perfectly balanced, and the fries were crispy and satisfying. The portions were perfect for a group — everyone left full and happy, which is exactly what you need for an office lunch. Nev's BBQ has officially set the bar for BBQ in South Florida. This isn't fast food BBQ — this is the real deal, the kind of place pitmasters would be proud of. If you're feeding a group or just treating yourself, do yourself a favor and order from Nev's. Nev’s is an unassuming spot that serves absolutely delicious barbecue! You walk in and go to your right, where you walk up to the counter and choose between a sandwich or a platter, I got a platter so I was given a delicious corn muffin, then had my choice of 1/3 pound of meat, a side, and then a drink! I got the pulled pork with Mac and cheese, my sister got the pulled pork as well with the creamy potato salad, and my dad got the smoked brisket with coleslaw. You have a choice of 3 different bbq sauces at your table, and it let me tell you, everything was absolutely delicious!! The pulled pork was so tender and flavorful, and 1/3 of a pound is absolutely filling! I will 100% come back to this place, and am looking forward to trying their other meats and sides!

Tried their brisket and cornbread for the first time today after reading the reviews and it absolutely did not disappoint! The brisket was amazing so flavorful, tender, and cooked perfectly. Their homemade sauces were really good as well. I especially loved the sweet cornbread bc it’s just the way I like it. Definitely coming back!
