Heard about this place all the way from North Carolina, so while I was in town, I had to stop by. Super friendly and welcoming staff as soon as you walk in the door. Hockey and football on the TVs either way you look. Beer was cold, and food was fresh and hot. Jayne was my waitress and she had me covered on anything I needed. Nate prepared my bbq wings and ribs and of course with the house ranch. Absolute perfection. If you’re in the Wellington or Boca areas, definitely got to check this place out.

Decades in, and they still deliver the goods like clockwork—no gimmicks, no shortcuts, just honest, glorious barbecue. The pork is righteous, the chicken hits hard, and the beef doesn’t mess around. And those Mississippi Sweets? Dangerous. The kind of thing that ruins your ability to settle for lesser desserts ever again. Service is fast, friendly, and refreshingly human. Meatless ribs...I ordered the ribs for takeout and was shocked by how little meat was actually on them. What little meat there was had been charred to the bone rather than being tender and fall-off-the-bone. The portions of mac and cheese and coleslaw were also very small and completely bland. All of this for $33? Definitely not worth it.

Best BBQ spot in West Lake Worth, downed a platter of the wings and ribs. Cured my urge for bbq for the day! Dara and Pete (also the cook I didn’t meet) are a great team and their service is respectful/ attentive. Thanks guys!!

Ive been seeing some reviews about the cornbread. BS. This is some of the best cornbread I’ve had I saw a review about the mac and cheese. I will say when its on point its on point and its hard to keep pasta guessing how many people will order it so id suggest half cooking a medium batch and cold water it. For the wait. Its tough to judge but i have never had bad mac and cheese here And for the rtibs I have never been disappointed with any rack ive had If you had delivery of the ribs or take out , understand meat or pork continues to cook when its off the gtill so unless your not lazy and goto the restaurant to eat you most likely signed your own complaint I have owned 2 restaurants that i have sold for high profit and i dont eat out much as i am a chef But, are there improvements waiting, sure just like any other place Is there a bad review Of course because karens keep complaining and instead of writing bad review approach the manager and give them your concerns Stop trying to down a family business when the family business only tries to make you happy My end revies of sweets it totally awesome Great staff Great food And stop calling uber eats and expect a decent meal
