Love dive bars?? Maybe it’s the games or locals that visit regularly or just some damn good chicken wings! Well look no further if your in the east Boca area - The Duck Tavern - checks all the boxes. This local spot is exactly what you’d expect. A great beer selection, fast and friendly bar service by Sarah Mae, classic bar food AND EVEN SPECIALS!! My first visit was yesterday after getting some hurricane supplies and needed to refuel and relax. Had two delicious beers on tap, served in a frosted glass (NICE!) and we shared some chicken wings, burger sliders, sweet potato fries, and a cup of chili. It was the perfect place to get some comfort food and a couple laughs with the locals! Food was 3.5/5 - it’s a dive bar, but everything was hot and fresh! Service 5/5 - again the solo bartender was quick, friendly & nice! Atmosphere 4/5 - you step into what seems like a tavern in old town, brick walls, cool decor, and cozy vibes.

Best wings in South Florida. I’ve had all the best in Buffalo NY and these wings could run with any of them. Very cool bar. The rest of the food was awesome. Fish Dip is the best my wife has had. Philly steak sandwich and the Reuben had a ton of meat. Fries and tots with an ice cold draft beer made it all complete. My new favorite place to relax, watch a game and have some great food and drinks.

I’m not usually someone who writes reviews. And I’m definitely not someone who throws around 5-star ratings unless they’re truly deserved. That said, when a place earns it, I’m more than happy to say so. For me, The Duck Tavern really starts with the bartenders. Leli and Ali have a way of turning a simple beer into a whole experience. You sit down planning to have one drink, and before you know it you’re enjoying the atmosphere, the conversation, and the vibe of the place. The bar itself is fun, welcoming, and stocked with all kinds of beers and drinks you don’t always find at a typical neighborhood spot. Personally, I love that they always have ice-cold Moosehead ready to go—credit to the owner for that. I originally started coming to this little gem because of the Moosehead… but I’ll always keep coming back because of Leli and Ali.

Food was ok, seems like a fun time if you're a local. I know how most dive bars work (locals come first) especially on weeknights but at least one "hey how is everything over here?" Would have been nice and goes a long way to an outsider (West Palm Beach) trying to decide if they come back next time they are in town. Certainly no hostility but indifference is not much better, maybe just a off night. Might try again next time I'm down there.

Duck Tavern is absolutely fantastic! The food is always amazing, the beer selection is top-notch, and the overall atmosphere makes every visit a great experience.
