On the way to Jupiter beach, we stopped to grab a sandwich & check out Tavolena Sandwich & Bakery. All I can say is this place is a GEM! The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The Big “Lufthansa” was INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS 😋 it’s like an Italian sub 2.0 but 100x better and it had just the right amount of every ingredient & meats. Everything tasted so fresh; they bake their own bread, they have Ciabatta, Semolina, & Focaccia, we also had two of their many delicious 🥐 pastries 🥮. One was with Pistachio WOW! & the other had a chocolate filling. Both had the right amount of sweetness. They also have a restaurant which I can’t wait to try.🤩 Stay tuned…

I found this place because it's next door to OM home healing massage spa and my residents went to Tavolena for dinner last week. Big Lufthansa(see pic), tavolena style was delicious. It's also double the price of other sub places, so not sure if it's"that good" my meatball smash was missing sauce(see pic) and was good but tasted more like a basic meatball sandwich. Pistachio crossaint was delicious. I'll give it another try one day when I get a massage next door and update review.

Tavolena Sandwich & Bakery is such a hidden gem. I got the veal cutlet sandwich and my boyfriend had the tuna—both were absolutely delicious. You can immediately see (and taste) how fresh the bread is, which makes such a difference. Everything felt really high quality. The space itself is adorable—when you walk in, it has the feel of a high-end Italian bakery with a great selection of pastries that all look amazing. Best part? It’s not expensive at all for the quality you’re getting. Honestly, Buccan Sandwich Shop has some serious competition. Highly recommend!

The meatball smash sandwich was incredible. From the moment I unwrapped it and smelled the garlicky bread, I knew it was going to be good. I only wish it came with a small cup of tomato sauce on the side to dip into, as there isn’t much of a sauce on the sandwich itself. The staff is extremely friendly and happy to communicate. The all white interior decor and staff uniforms was also pretty cool and visually appealing. I definitely recommend this place and I will be going back.

The Vito. Wagyu beef carpaccio, shallot marmalade, arugula, a bright vinaigrette, all layered onto fresh rustic Italian bread and finished with crispy potato sticks. Every single element works. The bread is fresh with the perfect texture, the Wagyu is delicate and rich, and that shallot marmalade completely takes it over the top. Slightly sweet, deeply savory, and honestly something I could eat on its own. The vinaigrette cuts through everything in the best way and brings the whole sandwich into balance. And then the crispy potato sticks on top add that final texture that makes it feel complete. It is rare to eat something where nothing feels out of place, nothing needs adjusting, nothing is missing. This is one of those. 5 out of 5. No notes.
