Everything at Mochinut was great! The donuts were fresh, soft, and full of flavor, and the Korean hot dogs were delicious and definitely worth trying. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the matcha drink. I expected it to be a brighter green with a stronger matcha flavor, but it seemed a bit dull and underwhelming. Other than that, everything was excellent, and I’d definitely come back for the donuts and Korean hot dogs!

My family stopped into Mochinut spontaneously on Sunday, March 29 as a fun surprise for our girls—they absolutely love Korean corn dogs. Right away, we noticed how spotless the place was. Everything was very clean, and the decor was super cute and inviting. After the girls picked out what they wanted and sat down, I went up to the counter to order. Initially, no one was there, and when a man eventually came up, the interaction was… honestly surprising. There was no greeting, no eye contact, and no communication - he listened to my order, took my money, handed me a receipt and walked away. It definitely caught me off guard because I expect at least a simple “hello.” Not long after, we received our crème brûlée drink—but it came in a can and didn’t match what was shown on the menu/website, and it didn’t include boba. I was a bit confused, but when I asked for clarification, one of the young women working there was incredibly kind and apologetic. She quickly fixed the drink without any issue. I really appreciated her attitude and willingness to make it right—it didn’t seem like her mistake at all. Perhaps the order was put in incorrectly. Then came the food—and WOW. We ordered a Flaming Hot Cheetos mozzarella, a blue Takis mozzarella, and an elote original Korean corn dog. These were hands down some of the BEST corn dogs we’ve had in a long time—maybe ever. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The elote original, in particular, was INSANE—the flavor combination was perfect. Not spicy, just packed with flavor. I’d eat it every day if I could. Before leaving, we grabbed a Dubai mochi donut for the road, and it wais really good as well. Next time, we’ll definitely come earlier so we can try more flavors. Overall, it was a good experience. The food was excellent, and the younger staff members were friendly and helpful. That said, first impressions matter—if the man who took my order had been my only interaction, I probably wouldn’t return. I don’t expect over-the-top service, but a simple greeting and basic communication go a long way. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in the area—there are still plenty of menu items we want to try!

I loved all the creative choices on the drinks, and the rice hotdogs were delicious, definitely more good then what I thought, my sister had a rice hotdog with crispy ramen on it and I had a original half and half. Oh! Also the rice hotdogs are bigger than what I imagine so whoever's reading this keep that in mind. Oh but you shouldn't doubt on coming to try this place at least once this place is a hidden gem 💙

was just there on 6/12 at 3pm & the girl at the counter acknowledged me and then did not take my order and continued making other peoples orders and left me waiting at the counter for 10 minutes, not exaggerating, 10 minutes. At some point, she said “sorry i’m catching up” then she walked past me another 3 times i said “i’m sorry are you able to take my order?” she said “i still have 2 drinks to make” and i said “so you’re just not going to take my order?” and she said “either way you’ll be waiting” I’m sorry but absolutely 0 customer service… i walked out and probably won’t be back :-)

Honestly, this place has gone downhill. I loved coming here to get a quick mangonada, but it’s always hit or miss. I like the donuts, but it’s not worth the drive anymore. The place needs a revamp, TLC, and customer service that makes people want to return. So sad! 😞
