We stopped by Kapow Noodle Bar on The Ave while my brother was visiting South Florida. We grabbed seats at the outdoor bar, which ended up being the perfect spot to relax, people watch, and catch up. The place feels welcoming right away. Lively, modern, but not over the top. We started with the Wagyu beef potstickers and the Samurai Crab Rangoon. The potstickers had that deep, savory flavor you hope for with Wagyu and a solid sear. The crab rangoon was crisp and rich without being greasy. Both were easy wins at the table. My brother ordered the Vegetable Pad Thai and added steak. It was excellent and honestly exceeded expectations. Bright flavor, well balanced, and the steak came out medium rare exactly as requested. No guesswork. Just done right. The surprise highlight of the night was the Blueberry Lavender Mojito. I expected it to lean too floral, but it was dialed in. Fresh, clean, and balanced. The lavender supported the blueberry instead of taking over. We also had a classic mojito, which was strong and well built. The bar program clearly isn’t an afterthought. For a night out on The Ave, the value felt right. Good energy, consistent food, standout cocktails, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Kapow isn’t just hype. It’s a solid choice in Delray, especially if you can grab a seat outside. And yes, the Blueberry Lavender Mojito is worth ordering.

We visited Kapow Noodle Bar for Mother’s Day and overall it was good, but not quite the amazing experience we were hoping for. The standout for me was definitely the duck in the duck fried rice. The flavor was excellent. That said, the rice itself was a little too heavy on the vegetables, and the carrots were still pretty hard. My son had the ramen and said it was decent, nothing bad, but nothing that really wowed him either. We also ordered a few appetizers that were honestly very good, probably an 8 or 9 out of 10. The biggest disappointment of the night was the chicken bao buns. The chicken was tough and honestly just not good at all. Considering how excited we were for dinner, that dish really missed the mark. Service and atmosphere were solid, but overall the meal landed more in the “it was okay” category than “can’t wait to come back.”

Oh my word this energetic and fun place was popping. The apps and starters were perfect. The shrimp pad Thai was so good with plenty of shrimp. The Korean chicken was the best my son had energy had. The tuna poke bowl has been requested every day since we were there. Great service and quality food. Thank you for a great time!!

Met up with some old friends for brunch today - who knew Kapow had brunch?!? Great surprise. And not your standard boring brunch, some really cool and delicious options. We started with some traditional apps like General Tao cauliflower (omg so good) and blistered shushito peppers (didn't know what to expect but would def do that again)! I tried the chicken and bubble waffles for my entree. Waffle was fluffy, chicken was nice and crispy, and even had some thinly sliced fresh fruit on the side. My friend got the Vietnamese steak and eggs with wagyu steak (steak had a fabulous chargrilled flavor) and another got the French toast that was at least two inches thick! Bottomless mimosas just $18 (crazy value!), and really pretty other cocktails at the table. Server Nico was very efficient and friendly. Definitely the place to go for a non-traditional brunch with some fabulous flavor!

Food is awesome. However service could be better. The hostess are not friendly at all seem like they don’t want to be bothered. Also my waiter not the nicest! Blonde hair guy. Don’t think I would dine back here again although the food is good such a shame. Please retrain your staff I understand they’re under stress since it’s a Saturday and busy however the attitudes does not suffice. Additionally I wasn’t given a receipt for my order I had to walk up and ask another waiter for my receipt who then proceeds to give me attitude as well. I finally got my receipt which was printed out for me. Why I had the trouble of doing all of this?
