I was supposed to go elsewhere for lunch. And I was friendnapped to Burtons. And this was my first time. Walking into the dining room made me forget I was in Boca Raton. It was dark and cozy. We promptly found great seats at the bar, and we're quickly greeted by Cat who was friendly and got us settled in. She was very welcoming. What impressed me the most? She remembered my friend's favorite wine, Quilt. And then she promptly brought us a bottle! +10 points to Cat! After settling in, my friend recommended the cheesecake egg rolls. They were very good! Then, Cat listed the day's specials, and to very specific details that she sold us on the scallops by describing them in such vivid detail. And Kat was right. The blackened scallops were outstanding in the lemon butter sauce. Charred perfectly and moist and tender in the middle. WOW. And then we decided to get the chocolate mousse cake, topped with sea salt. That was a very moist cake that was complimented by the glass of Quilt cabernet. Definitely recommend this place for a nice date or a business dinner. Update 1: we came here to celebrate business milestones today and I was very excited as my original visit was great. To our surprise, Kat was working again so it was another great service. She's so attentive and friendly. You start, we got the general tso cauliflower. Wow was that tasty. Crispy and great tangy sauce. I would order that again. For my entrée, I opted for the salmon. It was perfectly cooked and got it with haricot verts, which were cooked perfectly. There salmon was tender and buttery. It was awesome. The skin was pan seats crunchy so I was very happy. Great place for celebrations!

I should have know better! Went to Burtons on Christmas Eve with a reservation and it was packed. Had to wait 1/2 hour to be seated. Can't blame the waitress but it to 45 minutes to get our meals. Order the ribeye it was cooked the way I ordered it and it was good quality and tasty but it had been sitting under the warming light and was not hot. The mashed potatoes were good but had the warming light skin on them. I would go back when it's less crowded.

Excellent all the way!! Holly our server was amazing. Cauliflower amazing. Burger amazing. Allllll good. Chocolate cake. Take 2! lol

Had my first experience there with my parents and we had a nice casual lunch. The energy at the time was very relaxing, not to busy but can see it slamming in it's peak hours. We had two servers as one was in training. Both of them were very attentive and knowledgeable of the items served. Mom got the risotto half order which even that portion seemed enormous and she took more than half to go. I had the crab cake Benedict, great portion and was delicious. The crab cake was "ok" definitely a try to anyone not my choice to order it again. Would do thw classic or another

Very lovely cafe I just stopped to get a cold drink to go I had a banana one. Next time I'd love to sit down for some brunch it looked very beautiful inside and was in a lively shopping center
