We love 3G's for delicious food that reminds us of New York! Our experience here is always great, fun the greeters to the waitstaff, the entire staff is wonderful. We're especially fond of their breakfast and brunch selections and outdoor dining option. The coffee is excellent. They also have delicious salads and deli items, and some of the best local bakery items around; best black and whites, linzer tarts, and halavah. We have been coming here for years and can't say enough about 3Gs.

What a great place! Service was perfect. The menu extensive and food delicious. A friend tried the bakery and had nothing but rave reviews too!! I had the Thanksgiving turkey sandwich with potato cakes.

I’m calling this one Scenes From 3G’s because, in the end, I didn’t actually eat here. I sat down at a table with ten people. I ordered food. I waited. And then I didn’t eat. 3G’s Gourmet Deli is one of those South Florida Jewish delis with a vast, boilerplate menu and a loyal, mostly elderly clientele. If this were a place that actually cooked most of what it serves, this review would read very differently. But it doesn’t — and it’s not trying to hide that fact. This is a deli built almost entirely on commercial sourcing, primarily from Carnegie, a brand licensed to an Upstate New York–area deli manufacturer (Old World Provisions) whose products dominate Jewish delis, bagel joints, and luncheonettes across South Florida. Pastrami. Corned beef. Chicken soup. Matzo ball soup. Cheesecake. Blintzes. Mustards. Condiments. It’s all there, and it’s all Carnegie. Many delis use Carnegie products. 3G’s simply commits to the bit. A closer look at the deli case reveals Sy Ginsberg / EW Grobbel provisions as well — most of them removed from cryovac packaging, just enough to give the impression that something happened between factory and plate. It didn’t. Here’s what I ordered: a BLT on toasted wheat. The rye — the only thing I actually tasted, along with the pickles — is the familiar “let’s toast it because it’s naturally mushy” variety. We arrived at 5:30 PM. It took about 15 minutes for the group to order. My sandwich arrived roughly 40 minutes later. It was cold. Not lukewarm. Not cooling. Cold toast. Cold bacon. I flagged the waitress and told her the sandwich was cold. She replied, calmly and without irony, that it’s always cold. That ended the experiment. I had it taken back, declined to order anything else, said goodbye to the rest of the table, and left. I don’t believe in suffering in silence, and I wasn’t going to wait another 40 minutes for a hamburger just to confirm what was already obvious. The photos tell the story better than words ever could. This is not a kitchen expressing craft. It’s a showroom of industrial consistency — a place where the supply chain is the cuisine. And for what it’s worth, the restaurant was absolutely slammed when I walked out at 6:30 PM, leaving nine other people behind. So no, none of this criticism actually matters. The people who go here love it. If you enjoy commercially produced Jewish deli food, sourced from a small handful of major suppliers and delivered with total predictability, you’ll probably be very happy here. I wasn’t. I went out for sushi. 🍣

In the past 2 weeks we have been to 3G's two times. We live 40 minutes away so they are not just around the corner. Both times it was enjoyable and my wife was pleased. This review is totally based on your server Hanna. She was the best and was extremely attentive and always pleasant and sweet. In the future we shall always request Hanna and I recommend her to all your customers. She is a true asset and gem to your restaurant.

Updated 07/2025 Came a second time and I have to say – they deserve a star. The service was better this time and the wait wasn’t so long. Actually, the manager was sweet and kept coming over to ensure we had everything in order. The food was good! We ordered the same thing from last time because its not something we get in the west coast, corned beef sandos with coleslaw and matzo ball soup. We also got beer battered onion rings which were new on the menu – came out hot and fresh, would recommend 02/2025 Visiting during dinner can be a hit-or-miss, especially if you're not prepared for a wait. We arrived as a party of four and experienced a 25-30 minute wait for a table, which was surprising given that many seats were open. It seemed like we had a new server who took a while to take our order. I noticed that a table seated after us received their pickles and bread right away, while we had to wait quite a bit longer for ours. The ambiance was that of a typical deli! Additionally, the busboys appeared quite eager to assist that particular waitress, which might explain the faster service they received—she likely tips them well to help manage her tables (just a tip for the servers). Unfortunately, our food took longer than expected to arrive, and although the sandwiches were tasty, the fries were served cold. On a positive note, the corned beef was delicious and Matzo ball soup good! However, the slow service and the cold fries made for a disappointing experience overall. I'd rate 3Gs at a solid 3.5/5. Here’s hoping for improvement on my next visit!
